Coconut chips is a snack made from thin-sliced coconut flesh roasted in the oven. Many people love this snack because of its crunchy texture.

Serving portion :   4 portions

Ingredients:

1 Coconut (Alternative: packaged dried coconut flesh)
1 tbsp KARA Coconut Cooking Oil
1 tbsp Salt
1 tsp Black pepper
½ tsp Dried rosemary
½ tsp Dried thyme

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 195°C.
  2. Slice the coconut flesh (8-10 cm).
  3. Mix the coconut oil, black pepper, dried rosemary, dried thyme, and sliced coconut flesh in a mixing bowl and stir well.
  4. Put the baking paper on the baking dish and place the sliced coconut on it. Bake for 7-10 minutes or until the colour of coconut turns into brownish yellow.
  5. Let it cool down and store in an airtight container. Coconut chips can last up to 2 weeks.
